Februray 13th-19th C.A.S.

For my CAS this week I did several thins. Tuesday was valentines day. To celebrate I made valentines for everyone. I even helped my classmate, Sam, with making cookies for valentines day. Then Wednesday i played pick up soccer at R.B. hunt. it was really fun since I haven't played in awhile. A lot of diverse people come out to play as well. I met a man from Jamaica who was playing! I am going to go back and play again this Sunday. My goal is to score once! Then today i am going to go volunteer at the library.

February 6-12th A.

Friday, Februray 11th  I ran another mile. Once again I did not time myself. This is because I still haven't joined track and I dont really wanna look at my time since it has probably gone down since cross country season. This is Initiative since I took the time to go run.

January 27th C.S.

Last Friday the Sophomores were "shadowing" us around the school. The administrators thought that it would help them see what IB is really like. Its more of a way of convincing them to stay in and show them its true colors. I knew that one of the scariest things about IB for me Last year was the thought f CAS. No one had really explained it.The thought of so much community service can seem very daunting. So me Sam, and Nicole thought it would be a great idea to make a PowerPoint, showing all the pictures of our class doing our CAS service. We thought that if we showed them how fun CAS could be then it would help shrink the task down. it was a great success ion my book. We took pictures of our library work, Rosemary, the Gamble Rogers trails, and many other things. it went to a fun upbeat song, and really made CAS look not so scary. It was fairly easy to do as well. We had a couple problems with the music, but aside from that it was fun. We even had a slide of us making the presentation.It also helped me to reflect on what I had accomplished this year. Looking back our class as well as myself have accomplished many things that I haven't thought about. it helped me to think back and really appreciate what I did. this was the best part about the power point if you ask me. Collaboration because all three of us worked on this. Initiative because we should initiative by doing this. Awareness because we showed the sophomores what CAS is really like and brought them to awareness about the program.
